United Christian Hospital makes public appeal to help locate missing patient
The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The spokesman for United Christian Hospital (UCH) made a public appeal to help locate a missing patient today (September 19).
A 27-year-old female patient sought consultation at the Accident and Emergency Department of United Christian Hospital at around 10am this morning. She was under observation in the observation ward. At around 1pm, security guards discovered that the patient was missing.
Upon departure of the patient without prior notice, security guards were deployed to search for the patient within the hospital compound and the vicinity. The hospital also reported to the police for assistance. The patient is yet to be located. The hospital is very concerned about the incident and has immediately informed the patient's family. The hospital will fully co-operate with police in order to locate the patient.
The patient is about 1.6 meters tall, wearing glasses with thin body build. She was wearing grey colour top, blue colour jeans jacket, black colour trousers and wearing a white hat when she left the hospital.
The hospital appeals to the public to contact the Hospital at 3949 4002 or the police if they know the whereabouts of the patient.
