According to figures released by the Department for International Development, the UK paid £13.3 billion in overseas foreign aid last year, meeting the target of 0.7% of the country’s gross domestic product. Of this, £1.5 billion was sent to the EU to spend on overseas aid projects.

It is a disgrace that the European Union is using the tragedy of Northern Ireland to try to split Northern Ireland from the United Kingdom. Worse still that the inexperienced Irish Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar is allowing himself and the prosperity of the Irish people as sacrificial lambs on the altar of European Union ambition.

A European Union court has ruled that EU citizens who become British have more rights than other Brits to bring in spouses from outside the bloc to live in the UK.

The number of EU nationals working in the UK has reached a new record level, official figures from the ONS reveal. There were an estimated 2.38 million employees from EU member states, excluding the UK from July to September this year. This was up by 112,000 on the equivalent period of 2016 and the highest number recorded since comparable records started 20 years ago.
