Yesterday’s report from a House of Commons committee is a devastating indictment of the Tory government’s often contemptuous attitude towards devolution.

MPs are heading back to their constituencies from sticky hot Westminster and have the chance to reflect on what has been another utterly shambolic – shocking twelve months of Tory government. Theresa May’s year has been plagued by Tory infighting and failure.

Scotland has a strong economy. But it’s important that all of our communities grow together and that we all share in the prosperity that generates.
