It’s brilliant news that more young people in Scotland than ever before are now getting the opportunity to go to our world-class university.

Parents of all babies due from Tuesday are set to receive a box filled with the very essential items mums and dads need to look after their newborns. 

Two out of every five people in Scotland will develop cancer in their lifetime. And our aging population means that more people are being diagnosed with cancer. Yet better treatment also now means that more people can be cured than ever before.

Over the past ten years we’ve taken action help young people get into work. Today Scotland’s youth unemployment rate is the third lowest in the EU. We will now work to reduce it further and ensure more young people are in good, well paid work.

Our ambition is for Scotland to be the best place in the world to grow up. To do that we’re supporting families to give their children the very best start in life.
