Members sought for the Northern Ireland Building Regulations Advisory Committee

The Department of Finance has launched a public appointment competition to recruit eight members to the Northern Ireland Building Regulations Advisory Committee (NIBRAC).

A spokesperson for the Department for Communities said: “The Department notes the proposed investigation by the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO) into the administration of Personal Independence Payment (PIP). PIP in Northern Ireland is administered in accordance with the same statutory framework that is in place across the rest of the United Kingdom.

Extension to Appointment of the Non-Executive Chair to the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service

Ms Carmel McKinney’s appointment to the Board has been extended from 1 July 2019 to a date not later than 30 June 2020.

Extension of Non-Executive Board Member’s Role on the Northern Ireland Social Care Council

The Department of Health has announced an extension to the appointment of Neil Bodger as a Non-Executive Lay Member to the board of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC). Mr Neil Bodger’s extension will commence on 18 July 2019 and end on a date not later than 17 July 2020.
