Economy Minister Diane Dodds and Health Minster Robin Swann today urged companies across Northern Ireland to prioritise the safety of their staff. They also reminded workers of their obligation to protect themselves and their co-workers during this crisis.

Following agreement by the Executive, the Department of Health has published The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020.

Health Minister, Robin Swann, Finance Minister, Conor Murphy and Economy Minister, Diane Dodds today praised the amazing response from local companies to the government’s request for help in sourcing critical items such as ventilators, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), hand sanitisers and other items to help the fight against the Covid-19 virus.

All routine farm inspections will be paused until 30 April 2020, Minister Edwin Poots has confirmed.

Health Minister Robin Swann has stressed that staff concerns on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) are being treated extremely seriously.
