Agriculture Minister Edwin Poots has addressed the first ever, drive-in Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) AGM and paid tribute to the agriculture sector for their resilience during COVID-19 and assured them of his continued support in the future.

Health Minister Robin Swann has requested an Executive meeting following the decision to introduce quarantine for anyone travelling to Northern Ireland from Spain.

Those travelling from Spain and its islands into the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, will now be required to quarantine for 14 days.

Finance Minister Conor Murphy has welcomed the additional funding for the Executive and the guarantee that the Executive will receive a minimum of £2.2 billion for its COVID-19 response.

Lisburn Street, Ballynahinch will benefit from a £285,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme which is due to commence on Monday 27 July 2020.
