Minister highlights importance of £7M fund to support Social Enterprises

Communities Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has said the £7m Covid Social Enterprise Fund recognises the important role that Social Enterprises play both as an economic driver and a platform for social change.




Road improvement scheme for Ardmore Road, Derry

A £246,000 resurfacing scheme for Ardmore Road, Derry will commence on Monday 24 August 2020 and is scheduled to take five weeks to complete. The improvement scheme, which starts close to the Ballybogie Road and progresses south eastwards towards Berryburn Bridge for a distance of approximately 1.2km, includes resurfacing of the carriageway and upgrading of road drainage.

All A-Level and AS candidates in Northern Ireland taking qualifications through the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) will now be awarded the higher of the grades submitted by their centre or the grade calculated by CCEA.
