Mallon announces £160,000 street lighting scheme on Garvaghy Road, Portadown

Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon has announced that a £160,000 street lighting scheme will commence on the Garvaghy Road, Portadown on Monday 26 July 2021.




Fully vaccinated arrivals from France to Northern Ireland must continue to quarantine 

From 5pm today, anyone arriving from France into Northern Ireland must continue to quarantine for ten days at home or in other accommodation, even if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Farmer convicted at Newry Court

Mr Patrick McVerry, Tullyah Road, Belleeks, Newry was convicted at Newry Magistrates Court on 19/07/2021 of one charge of using an ear tag to identify an animal that had already been used to identify another animal, 24 charges of failure to notify the movement of animals onto his holding or the birth of said animals, 21 charges of failure to notify the movement of animals off his holding and nine charges of providing false information to the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs.
