As part of celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Transport Department (TD), a roving exhibition is being held from today (September 12) until mid-December at various locations to enhance public understanding of the TD's work and future development.
The roving exhibition showcases the development of Hong Kong's transport management, planning and services over the past 50 years. It also outlines the way forward for the city's road and transport network and infrastructure, as well as directions for promoting smart mobility. Apart from display panels, a physical model will also be on display at some of the venues to demonstrate the application of "in-vehicle units" for paying tunnel fees and car park fees by remote means.
The roving exhibition venues and dates are as follows.
September 12 – 16 Covered Piazza, Times Square, Causeway Bay*
