The Accident and Emergency Department of the Caritas Medical Centre maintains limited services

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The spokesperson of Caritas Medical Centre (CMC) made the following announcement:

     The Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department of the CMC encountered a flooding incident at about 11am today (July 18) and limited services are provided at the moment. The hospital has contacted the Fire Services Department to transfer patients arriving in ambulance to other A&E Departments in the cluster.

     The A&E Department will try to provide service to walk-in patients seeking medical treatment.  Patients can also seek consultation service in other A&E Departments under the Hospital Authority.

     The hospital apologised for the inconvenience caused by the incident.
