Tenders awarded for four petrol filling station sites

     The Lands Department announced today (September 9) that tenders for four petrol filling stations have been awarded on 21-year land grants at a total premium of $1,875,358,000.

     New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6628 at No. 371 Kwun Tong Road, Kowloon, was awarded to the highest tenderer, Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited (parent company: Sinopec Marketing Company Limited), at $691,580,000. New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6594 at No. 332 Tai Po Road, Kowloon, was awarded to the highest tenderer, ExxonMobil Hong Kong Limited, at $125,400,000. Yuen Long Town Lot No. 536 at No. 90 Tai Tong Road, Yuen Long, New Territories, was awarded to the highest tenderer, Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited (parent company: Sinopec Marketing Company Limited), at $618,250,000. Sha Tin Town Lot No. 629 at No. 20 Kong Pui Street, Sha Tin, New Territories, was awarded to the highest tenderer, Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited (parent company: Sinopec Marketing Company Limited), at $440,128,000.

     The successful tenders were submitted on an individual basis for the purchase of the above sites. These four sites are existing, re-tendered sites for the development of petrol filling stations. Five tenderers took part in the exercise, which produced a total of 14 tenders.
 
     The tenderers other than the successful tenderers that tendered in respect of each lot individually or as a package and in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
