The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
​​The spokesperson for Kowloon West Cluster (KWC) today (July 17) announced the temporary service relocation of the West Kowloon General Out-patient Clinic (address: G/F, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Sham Shui Po) to Nam Cheong Family Medicine Clinic (address: G/F, Treasury Building, 3 Tonkin Street West, Cheung Sha Wan) from July 24 (next Monday) onwards. The West Kowloon General Out-patient Clinic (the Clinic) will undergo renovation works to improve its environment and services. During the period, the service hours will remain unchanged (details are in appendix). The Clinic's services are expected to resume at the original location upon completion of the renovation works, tentatively in the third quarter of 2024.
Patients with chronic illnesses requiring regular follow-up care at the Clinic have already been informed of the service relocation and arranged to attend follow-up appointments at Nam Cheong Family Medicine Clinic. For patients with episodic illnesses, they can make appointments as usual through the General Out-patient Clinic Telephone Appointment System at 3157 0121 or the "Book GOPC" function in the mobile application "HA Go".
The spokesperson said, "KWC has already informed the residents in the district of the service arrangements through various channels, including putting up posters and banners at the clinic. Respective District Council has also been informed. A reminder message will be added to the General Out-patient Clinic Telephone Appointment System and the HA Go "Book GOPC" mobile application function so that the public and residents of the district can learn about relevant service arrangements as early as possible.
