The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The spokesperson for the Kowloon Central Cluster (KCC) today (October 19) announced the temporary service relocation of the Central Kowloon Health Centre (address: 147A Argyle Street, Mongkok) from October 25 due to renovation works of the clinic to improve its environment and service. The clinic's service is expected to resume at the original location upon completion of the renovation works, tentatively in the second quarter of 2022.
Due to the renovation works of the clinic, special arrangements will be made as follows: the service quotas of the clinic's day service will be relocated to Shun Tak Fraternal Association Leung Kau Kui Clinic (address: 2/F, Tokwawan Market and Government Offices Building, 165 Ma Tau Wai Road, Kowloon City), Lee Kee Memorial Dispensary (address: 99 Carpenter Road, Kowloon City) and Hung Hom Clinic (address: 22 Station Lane, Hung Hom). The evening service of the clinic will be relocated to Lee Kee Memorial Dispensary. The service of the Family Medicine Specialist Clinic will be relocated to Hung Hom Clinic. The service hours will remain unchanged (details are in the appendix).
Patients with chronic illnesses requiring regular follow-ups at the clinic have already been informed and arrangements have been made for them to attend follow-up appointments at the respective relocated clinics during the renovation period. Patients with episode illnesses can make appointments via the General Out-patient Clinic Telephone Appointment System or "Book GOPC" function in "HA Go" mobile app as usual and attend the consultation according to their bookings.
"The KCC has already informed the residents in the district on the service arrangements through various channels, including putting up notices and banners at the clinic. Respective District Council has also been informed. Reminder messages will also be added to the General Out-patient Clinic Telephone Appointment System and the 'Book GOPC' function in 'HA Go' mobile app, so that the public and residents in the district can be updated on the relevant service arrangements as soon as possible," the spokesperson added.
