Northern Ireland Hospital Statistics: Emergency Care (2018/19)

The Department of Health today published annual statistics on activity and waiting times at emergency care departments (ED), and activity of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) in Northern Ireland during the year ending 31 March 2019.




£120,000 road improvement scheme for Derrygonnelly Road, Fermanagh

A £120,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on the B81 Derrygonnelly Road, Derrygonnelly, County Fermanagh will commence on Monday 24 June.

The resurfacing work will extend a distance of 800 metres along the Derrygonnelly Road. This will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface quality of the road.

A reception took place in Belfast today for the Northern Ireland Netball Team ahead of their appearance at the World Cup in July




Northern Ireland Teachers’ Pension Scheme – IT System contract award

The Department of Education has awarded a seven year contract to administer the Teachers’ Pension Scheme starting on 1 April 2020.

The contract, valued at around £6million, was awarded to Civica following a competitive procurement process. Civica is a company with an established presence in the public sector pensions market.
