The Apprenticeship Awards will recognise excellence in apprenticeships including a special awards ceremony on 6 February 2020 at the Titanic Hotel in Belfast. The Awards Ceremony will be one of the highlight events during the Department’s inaugural Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week which will run from Monday 3 to Friday 7 February 2020.
It is disappointing that a ballot has been announced. Health service staffing vacancies are an issue across these islands, and industrial action will do nothing to resolve workforce challenges and can only penalise patients at a particularly difficult and uncertain time.
