Economy Minister Diane Dodds today launched a new learning resource for furloughed workers and others who have lost their job as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furloughed workers who are entitled to statutory family-related payments will not lose out.

Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon has announced financial support of up to £17million for ferry operators to keep supply chains open during the COVID-19 emergency.

The Department for Communities Covid 19 Food Parcel Service has been hugely successful in getting immediate food and essential supplies to those most in need, with 30,975 boxes having been delivered to the 24 Council distribution centres in the three weeks since the service started.
