Pavement Assessment Works To Commence In North Belfast

A road coring and road pavement investigation programme in North Belfast will commence on Sunday 26 July. The work, which will be carried out on short sections of the Westlink, the M2 motorway and some local streets is expected to last three weeks.




Resurfacing scheme at Old Cavehill Road, Belfast

Old Cavehill Road, Belfast will benefit from a £110,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme which is due to commence on Monday 20 July 2020. The resurfacing works will extend the entire length of the street, a distance of approximately 540 metres.




Wildfires cause lasting damage to local habitats – Poots

Environment minister Edwin Poots has again appealed for the public to not light fires when visiting the countryside.

During a visit to Armoy, Minister Poots said: “The level of lasting damage caused to natural habitat and associated wildlife by wildfire is shocking and unnecessary.
