Family, friends and ex-colleagues of the late Joe Breen OBE, met at Belfast Marina in Abercorn Basin for the renaming of the Department’s new survey vessel to the ‘Joe Breen’. 

The Department needs to advise all users of the Peace Bridge in Derry that it will be closed from Monday 3 February to Friday 7 February 2025 between the hours of 9.30 am to 3.30 pm daily.

Multi-agency preparations are underway to respond to any impacts as a result of Storm Éowyn, following a Met Office amber warning for strong winds. The warning is valid from 6am-9pm on Friday, 24 January. Gusts could reach speeds of 80-90mph and are likely to cause disruption.
