Index Numbers of Wholesale Price in India (Base: 2004-05=100)

The official Wholesale Price Index for ‘All Commodities’ (Base: 2004-05=100) for the month of March, 2017 declined by 0.1 percent to 185.3 (provisional) from 185.5 (provisional) for the previous month.

Global Crude oil price of Indian Basket was US$ 54.59 per bbl on 14.04.2017

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 54.59 per barrel (bbl) on 14.04.2017. This was lower than the price of US$ 54.92 per bbl on previous publishing day of 12.04.2017.



Indian Air Force Mountaineering Expedition to Mt Dhaulagiri (8167m)-2017

Indian Air Force is embarking upon a mountaineering expedition to Mt Dhaulagiri in Nepal from 15 Apr to 03 Jun 2017. Mt Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world at 8167 M (26795 Ft) and is the peak which was conquered last among the peaks above 8000 meters.
