Smt. Anita Kapur, Member, Competition Appellate Tribunal delivered CVC lecture on the topic “Tax Regime for countering Corruption” here today. This was the 18th lecture of the “Lecture Series” organised by the Central Vigilance Commission.




Shri Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar appointed as DG, CRPF; Shri RK Pachnanda to be next DG, ITBP

The Government has appointed Shri Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, IPS (UP:1983), Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau to the post of Director General, Central Reserve Police Force, from the date of joining the post and up to December 31, 2019 i.e. the date of his superannuation or till further orders, whichever is earlier.

Observance of Swachhta Pakhwada of M/O Tourism Today

The Eleventh day’s Swachhta Pakhwada work of Ministry of Tourism was undertaken at Tees January Marg Gandhi Memorial, New Delhi. As per schedule, Cleaning of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti area, officers and staff from Ministry of Tourism involved in intensive cleaning work, from 03:00 P.M to 05:00 P.M., which resulted in achieving the desired level of cleanliness

Commerce and Industry Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, inaugurated the orientation programme for establishment of Spice Farmers Producer Companies (SFPCs) and a buyer-seller meet organized by Spices Board in Itanagar today to highlight the promotion of spices and herbs being grown in the hill State of Arunachal Pradesh and integrate the farmers of the State with markets in India and abroad.
