The Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) with base 2011-12 for the month of June 2017 have been released by the Central Statistics Office of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

The total sown area as on 11th August 2017, as per reports received from States, stands at 943.45 lakh hectare as compared to 936.95 lakh hectare at this time last year.
