The 64th National Film Awards 2016 were announced today by the Chairpersons of the juries on Feature Films, Non Feature Films, Best Writing on Cinema and Most Film Friendly State Award.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 53.05 per barrel (bbl) on 06.04.2017.

The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on April 06, 2017 was 50.435 BCM, which is 32% of total storage capacity of these reservoirs. This percentage was at 33 for the week ending on March 30, 2017. The level of April 06, 2017 was 129% of the storage of corresponding period of last year and 105% of storage of average of last ten years.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) on November 20, 2016. The new Rural Housing programme is designed to meet the needs and aspirations of households.
