Henry G. Leong Yaumatei Community Centre temporary shelter opened

     Due to the No.3 alarm fire at a building on Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei, the Yau Tsim Mong District Office (YTMDO) today (April 10) has opened the temporary shelter at Henry G. Leong Yaumatei Community Centre (60 Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon) for residents in need.

     The YTMDO will closely monitor the situation, and liaise with other government departments to provide residents with appropriate assistance. 




No. 3 alarm fire in Yau Ma Tei (2)

     A fire broke out at a building on Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei at 7.53am today (April 10), and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 8.04am. The fire was surrounded at 8.54am.
 
     Firemen are now using two jets and mobilising two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

Missing woman in Kwai Chung located

     A woman who went missing in Kwai Chung has been located.

     Lau Leung-ching, aged 56, went missing after she left a rehabilitation centre on Wo Tong Tsui Street on April 2 morning. Staff of the rehabilitation centre made a report to Police on the next day.

     The woman was located at a hospital on Ngan Shing Street in Sha Tin this morning (April 9). No suspicious circumstances were detected.




Missing man in Lantau North located

     A man who went missing in Lantau North has been located.

     So Yuk-wah, aged 59, went missing after he left his residence in Yat Tung Estate on April 7 morning. His family member made a report to Police on the same day.

     The man was located on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui tonight (April 9). He sustained no injuries and no suspicious circumstances were detected.
