Liquor Licensing Board to meet on Tuesday

     The Liquor Licensing Board will meet on Tuesday (December 5) to consider an application for renewal of a liquor licence.

Red flags hoisted at Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (December 3) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at these beaches.




15th round of computer ballot registration for submitting applications for Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles to open December 4 to 7

     The Transport Department today (December 3) reminded members of the public that the 15th round of computer ballot registration for submitting applications for Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles (the scheme) will be open from 10am tomorrow (December 4) to 11.59pm on December 7, and the ballot result will be announced on December 8.
      
     Eligible applicants for the scheme can register for computer balloting through the designated website (www.hzmbqfs.gov.hk). Successful balloting applicants are required to submit applications for the scheme within the designated date and time randomly allocated by the computer system.




Hands-on approach to mental illness

     Mind Space at Castle Peak Hospital, now open to the public, is a mental health experience museum where apart from unveiling the history of Hong Kong’s psychiatric services, it offers visitors a hands-on approach to understanding mental illness via simulated experiences of symptoms, interactive exhibits, animated displays and relevant relics.

     News.gov.hk interviewed Peer Support Workers who play an integral role at the museum by sharing their past mental illness experiences with visitors and students to determine what they gained after touring the museum.
