Tenders invited for government property tenancy

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a three-year tenancy of a government property at Shop No. 2 in the Restricted Area on the Departure Level of China Hong Kong City, China Ferry Terminal, 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

     The property should be used for general retail purposes only (excluding storage and sale, display or distribution of duty-free goods, perfume and cosmetics).

     The tender notice was uploaded today (May 25) to the Agency’s website: www.gpa.gov.hk. Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency’s website.

     Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the site should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7654 on or before June 14.

     Tenderers must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at the ground floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, before noon on June 25, 2018. Late tenders will not be accepted. read more

Amendments to Ma Wan Chung road works proposed

     The Government gazetted today (May 25) the proposed amendments to the road works at Ma Wan Chung, Tung Chung, in order to tally with the latest road design under the Tung Chung New Town Extension project.

     Details of the proposed amendments are set out in the Annex. The amendment plans and amendment scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments is required to address to the Secretary for Transport and Housing an objection in writing, which can be submitted via the following means:
 

  • By post or by hand to the Transport and Housing Bureau’s drop-in box No. 6 located at the entrance on 2/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. The box is available for use between 8am and 7pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays);
  • By fax to 2868 4643; or
  • By email to gazettethb@thb.gov.hk.

     A notice of objection should describe the objector’s interest and the manner in which he or she alleges that he or she will be affected by the proposed amendments. Objectors are requested to provide contact details to facilitate communication. A notice of objection should be delivered to the Secretary for Transport and Housing not later than July 24, 2018. read more

Proposed road works at Tung Chung Road North gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (May 25) the proposed road works at Tung Chung Road North which are required to serve the anticipated traffic demand induced by the Tung Chung New Town Extension project.

     Details of the proposal are set out in the Annex. The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
