Liquor Licensing Board to meet on Tuesday

The following is issued on behalf of the Liquor Licensing Board:

     The Liquor Licensing Board will meet on Tuesday (June 5) to consider four applications for new issue or renewal of liquor licences.

     The applications are (not in order of discussion):

     The meeting will be held at 9.45am in the conference room, Room 102, 1/F, 258 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. Members of the public are welcome to attend, except during the private session on confidential items. read more

Bird watching soars to new heights

     Amid the hustle and bustle of city life, bird watching is a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all ages.
 
     The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society is dedicated to raising conservation awareness for feathered species and promotes the joy of observing birds to local residents and tourists.
 
     The society’s elderly volunteer group, the Crested Bulbul Club, organises regular activities.
