Staff member of Civil Service Bureau tests preliminarily positive for COVID-19

     The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) today (February 16) said that the Director of General Grades tested preliminarily positive for COVID-19. 
         
     The staff member works on the seventh floor, West Wing, Central Government Offices, Tamar. He last went to work on February 15. He usually works in the office but has met with contractors outside the office to help identify suitable venues for vaccination. He wore face masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He has no recent travel history. 
         
     The CSB has conducted a thorough cleaning and disinfection at the relevant offices, and arranged relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 tests in accordance with the advice from the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health. 
         
     The CSB will continue to strictly implement various disease prevention measures. Staff members are also reminded to pay attention to personal hygiene and to stay vigilant. They should seek medical advice immediately and inform the CSB if feeling unwell.
