Police will implement special traffic arrangements in various districts to facilitate the celebration of Tin Hau Festival.

A. Road closure
The following roads will be intermittently closed on May 1 until completion of the procession (actual implementation time may be advanced if necessary):
From 8am onwards:
– Hong Yip Street between Wang Yip Street East and Po Yip Street;
– Southbound Po Yip Street between Hong Yip Street and Yuen Long On Lok Road;
– Yuen Long On Lok Road between Po Yip Street and Wang Chau Road;
– Wang Chau Road;
– Tung Lok Street between Yuen Long On Ning Road and Fook Tak Street;
– Tai Kiu Road;
– Sau Fu Street;
– Kik Yeung Road;
– Yuen Long On Ning Road between Wang Chau Road and Ma Miu Road;
– Ma Miu Road; and
– Wang Tat Road between Shui Pin Wai Interchange and Fung Chi Road, except for franchise buses.
The following roads will be closed on May 1 until completion of the procession (actual implementation time may be advanced if necessary):
From 8am onwards:
– Fung Cheung Road between Kin Lok Street and Fung Kam Street;
– Yau San Street between Kin Lok Street and Hop Yick Road;
– Westbound Kin Lok Street;
– Kin Yip Street;
– Hop Yick Road;
– Kin Tak Street; and
– Tai Tong Road between Shung Ching San Tsuen and Hop Yick Road.
From 9am onwards:
– Tai Tong Road between Fau Tsoi Street and Ma Tong Road;
– Kau Yuk Road between Tai Tong Road and Fung Nin Road;
– Ma Tin Road between Kau Yuk Road and Ma Tong Road;
– Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road between Kau Yuk Road and Ma Tin Road;
– Yuen Long On Hing Street;
– On Leung Lane;
– On Hong Road; and
– On Chun Lane.
From 10am onwards:
– Ma Tong Road and Ma Tin Road between Sai Yu Street and Yuen Long Tak Yuk Road; and
– Tai Shu Ha Road East between Ma Tong Road and Tai Shu Ha Tin Hau Temple.
B. Cycle tracks closure
The cycling tracks on Wang Tat Road between Chun Hing San Tsuen and Fung Chi Road will be intermittently closed from 7.45am on May 1 until completion of the procession (actual implementation time may be advanced if necessary).
C. Traffic diversions
The following traffic diversions will be implemented (actual implementation time may be advanced if necessary):
– Tai Shu Ha Road East between Ma Tong Road and Tai Shu Ha Tin Hau Temple will be re-routed one way southbound from 6pm on April 30 to 5pm on May 1; and
– Kin Yip Street between the entrance/exit of the car park of Fung Ting Court and its junction with Kin Lok Street will be re-routed one way northbound from 8am on May 1 until completion of the procession.
D. Suspension of parking spaces
The goods vehicle parking spaces at the car park of Fung Yau Street North will be suspended from 4pm on April 30 until completion of the procession.
All parking spaces on the following roads or car parks will be suspended from 8pm on May 1 until completion of the procession:
– Car park of Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road outside Yuen Long Stadium;
– Car park of Town Park Road North outside Yuen Long Stadium;
– Ma Tin Road;
– Wang Fat Path;
– Kin Tak Street;
– Yan Lok Square;
– Hung Min Court;
– On Leung Lane;
– On Hong Road; and
– On Chun Lane.
Tuen Mun

A. Road closure
The following roads will be closed from 7am to 3pm on May 1, except for vehicles with permit:
– San Wo Lane;
– San Tak Street;
– Southbound Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road between Castle Peak Road – San Hui and Pui To Road; and
– Luk Yuen Street.
The following roads will be intermittently closed on May 1, except for vehicles with permit:
From 7am to 6pm:
– Tin Hau Road between Pui To Road and Yip Wong Road;
– Hung Cheung Road between its southern junctions with San Ping Circuit and Tin Hau Road;
– Southbound Hung Cheung Road between its southern and
northern junctions with San Ping Circuit;
– San On Street from its southern junction with Hung Cheung Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
– San Hop Lane; and
– Hing Wong Street from its junction with Hung Cheung Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction.
From 7am to 3pm:
Westbound Pui To Road between Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road and Tin Hau Road.
From 1pm to 6pm:
– Eastbound Pui To Road between Tsun Wen Road and Ho Pong Street; and
– Northbound Ho Pong Street.
B. Cycle tracks closure
The cycle track along the western riverside of Tuen Mun River Channel between Pui To Road and Yau Oi Bridge will be closed from 7am to 6pm on May 1.
C. Traffic diversions
Hung Cheung Road between its southern and northern junctions with San Ping Circuit will be re-routed one way northbound from 7am to 6pm on May 1, except for vehicles with permit.
D. Suspension of metered parking spaces
All metered parking spaces on the following roads or car parks will be suspended on May 1, except for vehicles with permit:
From 7am to 2pm:
– San Wo Lane;
– Carpark on San Wo Lane;
– San Tsing Street;
– Luk Yuen Street; and
– Northbound Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road opposite to San Hui Playground.
From 7am to 6pm:
Carpark outside Tuen Mun Hung Cheung Road Sitting-out Area.
Cha Kwo Ling

The following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 8am to 3.15pm on May 1:
– The slow lane of eastbound Cha Kwo Ling Road between Wai Yip Street and Lam Tin Interchange will be closed;
– Eastbound Cha Kwo Ling Road between Wing Fook Street and Wai Yip Street will be closed; and
– Vehicles heading for eastbound Cha Kwo Ling Road will be diverted via the unnamed slip road leading from Cha Kwo Ling Road to Wai Yip Street, westbound Wai Yip Street, roundabout, eastbound Wai Yip Street and eastbound Cha Kwo Ling Road.
Sai Kung

(1) Joss House Bay
The following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 0.01am on April 30 to 11.59pm on May 1:
– Tai Au Mun Road from a point about 75 metres north from its junction with Po Toi O Chuen Road to a point about 100 metres south of the same junction will be closed, except for access to Po Toi O Chuen, Tin Hau Temple and the Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club;
– Six metered parking spaces (meter no. 28670A, 28670B, 28671A, 28671B, 28672A and 28672B) and four non-metered parking spaces on Tai Au Mun Road outside Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club will be suspended; and
– Four metered parking spaces (meter no. 28249A, 28249B, 28250A and 28250B), four motorcycle parking spaces and a coach parking space on Tai Au Mun Road near Po Toi O Chuen Road will be suspended.
(2) Sai Kung Town
The following traffic arrangements will be implemented form 8am on May 6 to 6pm on June 11:
A. Road closure and traffic diversions
The following road closure and traffic diversions will be implemented:
– Yi Chun Street from Yi Chun Street Public Toilet to its western junction with Man Nin Street will be closed;
– Nin Chun Street will be re-routed one way northbound;
– Man Nin Street from its western junction with Yi Chun Street to its junction with Nin Chun Street will be converted into two-way traffic; and
– Traffic along Man Nin Street heading for Po Tung Road will be diverted via northbound Nin Chun Street and westbound Man Nin Street.
B. Suspension of parking spaces
The following parking spaces will be suspended:
– Metered parking spaces on Man Nin Street (meter no. 28081A, 28081B, 28082A, 28082B, 28083A, 28083B, 28084A, 28084B, 28085A, 28085B, 28086A, 28086B, 28088A, 28088B, 28089A and 28089B);
– Metered parking spaces on Yi Chun Street (meter no. 28091B, 28093A, 28093B, 28094A, 28094B, 28095A, 28095B, 28096A, 28096B, 28117A, 28117B and 28118B);
– Metered parking spaces on Po Tung Road (meter no. 28025A, 28025B and 28027A); and
– All motorcycle parking spaces opposite to Mona Fong Government Clinic on Man Nin Street.
Tsing Yi

The following traffic arrangements will be implemented form 8am to 4pm on May 10:
A. Road closure
The following roads will be closed:
– Tsing Luk Street between the carpark exit of Tsing Yi Garden and the taxi stand near Tsing Yi Estate Bus Terminus; and
– The slow lane of southbound Fung Shue Wo Road opposite to Tsing Yi Rural Committee.
B. Traffic diversions
The following traffic diversions will be implemented:
– Traffic along southbound Fung Shue Wo Road heading for northbound Tsing King Road via Tsing Yip Street and Tsing Luk Street will be diverted via southbound Fung Shue Wo Road, Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout and northbound Tsing King Road;
– Traffic along northbound Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road heading for Tsing Yip Street via Tsing Luk Street will be diverted via northbound Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road, northbound Fung Shue Wo Road and eastbound Tsing Yip Street; and
– Traffic along Tsing King Road near Cheung On Estate heading for Tsing Yip Street via Tsing Luk Street will be diverted via northbound Tsing King Road, Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout, westbound Fung Shue Wo Road and eastbound Tsing Yip Street.
All vehicles parked illegally during the implementation of the above special traffic arrangements will be towed away without prior warning, and may be subject to multiple ticketing.
Actual implementation of traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
