SEN to lead delegation on visit to Foshan
The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will lead a delegation comprising representatives from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the environmental sector as well as relevant professionals and academics on a visit to Foshan tomorrow (July 15). They will attend an exchange session on the green circular economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and visit an environmental industry facility that manages solid waste.
Mr Wong will also deliver a speech at the exchange session in the morning. In the afternoon, he will accompany the delegation on a visit to the environmental industry facility that manages solid waste.
Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong on Monday evening. During his absence, the Under Secretary for the Environment, Mr Tse Chin-wan, will be the Acting Secretary for the Environment.
