SCST witnesses Hong Kong, China Delegation winning one gold medal and one silver medal at Paris Paralympics

     The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, congratulated the Hong Kong boccia athletes Ho Yuen-kei and Tse Tak-wah, as well as Cheung Yuen and Leung Yuk-wing, on winning one gold medal and one silver medal in the Boccia Mixed Pairs BC3 and Pairs BC4 respectively at the 2024 Paris Paralympics Games today (September 5, Paris time).

     Mr Yeung said, "The Hong Kong, China Delegation stayed highly focused during competitions, demonstrating remarkable strategy and precision. I was so excited to personally watch the athletes strive for excellence in their respective mixed pairs events. The outstanding results are not only the hard-earned success of the athletes, but also the accomplishments of the coaches, medical and support teams."

     The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won eight medals, namely three gold, four silver and one bronze, at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. The details are as follows:
