The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (October 28) congratulated Ng Mui-wui and Wong Ting-ting on winning a gold medal in Table Tennis Women's Doubles – TT22 for Hong Kong, China Delegation at the 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou.
Mr Yeung said, "Ng and Wong stayed resilient in difficult times and turned the challenge into victory with a gold medal. Their outstanding performance deserves our great applause. I also give my best wishes to the Women's Team Sabre, as well as the coach and support team who contributed a lot in their journey of success too."
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won 47 medals, namely eight golds, 15 silvers and 24 bronzes, at this Asian Para Games. The list of medals won today are as follows:
