Roving Sports Demonstrations For All move to Tsim Sha Tsui and Chai Wan

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will host its last two legs of the Roving Sports Demonstrations For All at Tsim Sha Tsui tomorrow (July 16) and at Chai Wan on July 17. 

     The two sports demonstrations are rope skipping at K11 Art Mall, Tsim Sha Tsui, from 2.30pm to 4pm tomorrow, and wushu at Youth Square, Chai Wan, from 2.30pm to 4pm on July 17. Besides introducing and demonstrating the featured sports activities to the public, there will also be display exhibition boards, which introduce various sports activities, and help visitors understand the benefits of regular exercise, thereby promoting the "Sport for All" concept.

     Members of the public are welcome to join and admission is free. The LCSD earlier held sports demonstrations featuring dance and physical fitness exercise which were well received by the public.      These events are under the exclusive sponsorship of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), and are among the many initiatives supported by the HKJC's approved donation of $630 million to the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, demonstrating that the HKJC is resolute in pursuing its purpose of acting continuously for the betterment of our society, all in support of creating stronger communities together.
