Remarks by SCST at media session (with photos/video)

     Following are the remarks by the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, and the Head of the National Games Coordination Office (Hong Kong), Mr Yeung Tak-keung, at a media session after attending the 15th National Games road cycling test event this morning (November 24):

Reporter: First, any issues that will raise during the test in the Hong Kong section this morning? Secondly, how smooth were the temporary transport and road measures?

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism: I think overall, the test event is very smooth, and I think you can observe throughout the process that with the support of all the relevant departments and organisations. We managed to put together very effective measures to ensure that the test events are carried out efficiently and effectively. 

     And I think for the transport, as I said, the time taken for the trip from airport to the urban area is about 20 minutes more and it's about 25 minutes more on the other way, which were already less than what we forecast at the beginning. So I think overall, the test event has been carried out very smoothly.
