Red flags hoisted at some beaches

     Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 8) that due to inclement weather, red flags have been hoisted at Butterfly Beach, Castle Peak Beach, Cafeteria New Beach and Golden Beach in Tuen Mun District; and Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach, Lido Beach, Casam Beach and Ting Kau Beach in Tsuen Wan District. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
