The Transport Department will hold the Best Customer Service Awards 2018/2019 election from November 5 to 9. Members of the public are invited to vote for the best front-line staff for the awards.
"By holding this election, the department would like to encourage our front-line staff to embrace the belief of 'Putting Our Hearts Into It' when providing public services and to continue to uphold and improve our service standards," a department spokesman said today (October 29).
All front-line staff of the Vehicle Safety and Standards Division, the Driving Services Section and the Licensing Section (including the Licensing Unit, the Vehicle Inspection and Records Unit, the Cross Boundary Unit and the Public Vehicles Unit) are eligible for nomination and voting by the public for their best services provided. Members of the public are invited to visit the participating offices during the election period and vote for the best front-line staff for the awards.
A total of 55 awards will be presented. Election results will be announced and the award presentation ceremony will be held early next year.
