Protestors chant slogans and gather in the vicinity of Jordan and Mongkok

Since 3pm today (June 28), protestors travelled along Nathan Road from Jordan to Mongkok. Some protestors occupy roads, paralyzing the traffic. Protestors also behaved in a disorderly manner and chanted slogans. Police warned the protestors on Kansu Street, Yau Ma Tei and Dundas Street, Mongkok respectively to leave immediately and that participating in such events may contravene "taking part in an unauthorised assembly" in accordance with the Public Order Ordinance.
Police will closely monitor the latest situation of various districts and step up patrol in the area concerned. Police will swiftly attend the scene and take resolute enforcement actions to stop anyone from disrupting public peace.
