​The Chief Executive in Council has authorised the proposed sewerage works for the site formation and infrastructure works for the public housing developments at San Hing Road and Hong Po Road, Tuen Mun. The notice was gazetted today (March 21).
The sewerage works comprise the following:
- construction of about 2 500 metres of gravity sewers and associated manholes;
- construction of about 600m of twin rising mains, one sewage pumping station and associated manholes;
- upgrading of about 200m of existing gravity sewer; and
- ancillary works including temporary closure and reinstatement of carriageways, footpaths, cycle tracks, and central medians/refuge islands or parts thereof.
Details of the sewerage works were published in the Government Gazette on January 26, 2024, and February 2, 2024.
