Secretary Michael R. Pompeo met with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak yesterday.  They discussed the importance of U.S.-Slovak bilateral relations, Slovakia’s plans to modernize its military, and Slovakia’s upcoming role as Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE.  They also discussed global affairs, including Iran’s ballistic missile program, advancing the final fully verified denuclearization of North Korea, and the importance of maintaining sanctions on Russia.
