Press Releases: Assistant Secretary of State Manisha Singh Travels to Greece, Turkey, and Kazakhstan

Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Manisha Singh will travel to Athens, Greece; Istanbul, Turkey; and Almaty, Kazakhstan, July 16-20.

On July 16 in Athens, the Assistant Secretary will meet with government counterparts to discuss U.S. economic priorities and explore means for building economic resilience. While there, she will also meet with women entrepreneurs.

From July 17-18, Assistant Secretary Singh will travel to Istanbul, where she will meet with business leaders to discuss ways to enhance trade and business ties between the United States and Turkey.

In Almaty from July 19-20, the Assistant Secretary will lead the U.S. delegation to the C5+1 Working Group on Economic Connectivity. The C5+1 is a joint dialogue focused on bolstering connectivity and trade through greater economic integration, addressing environmental vulnerabilities, and increasing security cooperation between the five Central Asian states.
