Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Kevin E. Moley will travel to New York from July 16 – 18, leading the U.S. delegation to the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. Assistant Secretary Moley is expected to deliver the U.S. national statement at the Forum, in which he will underscore, among other themes, the reform of the UN development system, as well as the growing importance of public-private partnerships to addressing global development challenges. While in New York, Assistant Secretary Moley will also meet with U.S. and UN officials, including United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Executive Director Henrietta Fore.
