Political Assistant to Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs to leave post

     A Government spokesman today (August 19) said that the Political Assistant to the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Kenneth Ng King-tsun, has earlier tendered his resignation. He will commence leave on August 20 and leave the Government with effect from August 30.

     Mr Ng will join the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority to take up the position of General Manager, Communications and Public Affairs after leaving the Government, and has sought prior advice from the Advisory Committee on Post-office Employment for Former Chief Executives and Politically Appointed Officials in respect thereof.

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, thanked Mr Ng for his contributions to the bureau during his tenure, wished him all the best in his future endeavours and that he would continue to make contributions to Hong Kong.
