Police warn protestors to stop illegal acts and Report Room services of Sham Shui Po and Mong Kok Police Station suspended

Attention duty announcers, radio and TV stations:

Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

Since around 4.30pm, protestors have been gathering in Sham Shui Po, Prince Edward and Mong Kok. Some radical protestors have removed railings from roads, spray-painted and vandalised shops. As a result, traffic in the vicinity has been paralysed. The protestors are participating in an unauthorised assembly.

At around 5pm, rioters set fire to Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, broke the roll-up gate and stormed the building to inflict damage.

The Police will be conducting dispersal soon. We warn the rioters to stop all illegal acts and leave immediately.

The Report Room services of the Sham Shui Po Police Station and Mong Kok Police Station are temporarily suspended. In case of emergency, please call 999.
