The National Security Department (NSD) of the Hong Kong Police Force yesterday (January 13) searched against a residential unit and a commercial building unit in the Hong Kong Island area with a court warrant.
Investigation suggests that the individual was suspected of using his company to render assistance to a wanted person who has absconded overseas, in continuing activities endangering national security.
During the operation, a batch of exhibits, including computers, tablet device, mobile phones and bank documents were seized by NSD officers. A director and two staff members of the company under investigation were also invited to the police station to assist in the investigation.
Investigation is still ongoing, no arrest has been made so far.
