Police charge one man and two women

     Police today (July 11) laid charges against a man with one count of manslaughter and two women jointly with one count of perverting course of public justice.

     At 1.56pm on July 8, Police received a report from a woman that her husband was found collapsed inside a unit of Fook Ming House, Fortune Estate. Ambulance personnel sped to the scene and found a 44-year-old man lying in the living room of the unit. He was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre and was certified dead at 2.25pm on the same day.

     Upon investigation, Police arrested the deceased’s 22-year-old stepson, 59-year-old wife and 33-year-old stepdaughter.

     Post-mortem examinations has been arranged to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
     
     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po is under way.

     The case is mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts today.
