Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) leads delegation to visit Nansha (with photo)

     The Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Lam Sai-hung, led a Hong Kong delegation to visit Nansha, Guangzhou, today (September 24) and signed the "Cooperation Agreement between the Administrative Committee of the Nansha Area of Guangzhou of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Development Bureau".

     Mr Lam said that through the co-operation agreement, both sides will establish a co-operation mechanism, enhance information exchange, and promote collaboration and interaction of enterprises and professionals of the construction and related sectors in Hong Kong and Nansha. This would be beneficial to the economic development of both Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the long run and help to take forward the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

     The Development Bureau has signed co-operation agreements with the three free trade zones in Guangdong, namely Qianhai of Shenzhen, Hengqin of Zhuhai and Nansha, with an aim to create more opportunities for Hong Kong's enterprises and professionals of the construction and related sectors.
