Police are investigating a pending murder case in Sai Kung yesterday morning (September 2) in which a 21-year-old woman died.
At about 7.35am, Police received a report from a 50-year-old man that his 21-year-old daughter collapsed inside a village house on Lung Mei Tsuen Road.
Police officers sped to the scene and found the 21-year-old woman sustaining multiple injuries and lying unconsciously on a bed. She was certified dead at scene.
Initial investigation revealed that the 50-year-old father, his 52-year-old wife, his 49-year-old male friend and his 29-year-old female friend were suspected to have assaulted the deceased with hands, plastic rackets and a pair of slippers. They were arrested for murder and are being detained for further enquiries.
A pair of slippers and three plastic rackets in suspected connection with the case were seized at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Investigation by the Crime Unit of Wong Tai Sin District is underway.
