Lunchtime Recital with SeaTangle


Tom and Kayren Hall, the husband and wife duo who make up SeaTangle, have been involved with music for over fifteen years in the East Neuk of Fife where they play regularly.

They perform a wide range of music which includes traditional Scottish songs and tunes, and a wide variety of other songs gathered along the way. 

Tom, a valued member of the Wighton Singers,  sings and plays guitar, drawing on a background which includes Sixties pop, amateur operatic shows, and also helping organise and run music sessions in the East Neuk, while Kayren plays fiddle and djembe.

Admission free, donations welcome.

Fyffe Street (Benvie Road to Polepark Road) – eastbound closure from Friday 1 February for up to one week for emergency Scottish Water repair.

Old Hawkhill (junction of Park Place) – temporary traffic lights for one week for water connection works.

Perth Road (at Mid Wynd) – temporary traffic lights for one week for sewer repair.

Riverside Drive (at Discovery Point) – off-peak westbound nearside lane closure on Thursday 7 February for Scottish Water repairs.

Nethergate (at South Tay Street) – temporary traffic lights from Friday 8 February to Sunday 10 February for Virgin Media Work.

West Marketgait (Hawkhill to Ward Road) – northbound nearside lane closure (9.00am – 4.00pm) from Monday 11 February for one week for BT works.

Bellfield Street – off-peak (9.30am – 3.30pm) stop/go traffic control on Monday 18 February for 2 days at new housing development for road and footway reinstatement works.



Getting things done – Newhall Gardens #dundeewestend

Residents recently drew to my attention the fact a street sign at the entrance to Newhall Gardens has been knocked over – see photo (right) :

I drew this to the City Council’s attention and have now been advised :

“An order has now been raised for the pole to be re-erected.”



Getting things done – Greenbank Place #dundeewestend

Residents have complained to me about the state of the roadway in Greenbank Place – see photo (right) :

I took this up with the council’s Roads Maintenance Partnership and have received the following helpful feedback :

“An order has been raised for the repair of a number of potholes in Greenbank Place with a timescale for repair of approximately thirty days.”
