Murder in Sham Shui Po

      Police are investigating a murder case happened in Sham Shui Po this morning (June 5), in which three non-ethnic Chinese girls, aged 2, 4 and 5, died.
 
     At about 11am, Police received a report that three girls were killed in a unit on 115 Kweilin Street.
 
     Police officers sped to the scene and found the three girls lying unconsciously in bed. Sustaining no superficial injury, they were rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre. The three girls, aged 4, 2 and 5, were certified dead at noon, 12.09pm and 12.22pm respectively.
 
     After initial investigation, Police arrested a 29-year-old non-ethnic Chinese woman for murder at scene. She is being detained for further enquiries. Investigation revealed that the woman suspectedly covered the three girls’ head by pillows.
 
     Three pillows, three duvet covers and one bed sheet in suspected connection with the case were seized at scene.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the causes of their deaths.
 
     Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is underway.
