Police are investigating a murder case in Mong Kok in which a 28-year-old woman died.
At 11.53am today (November 3), Police received a report from a 25-year-old man that he failed to contact his 28-year-old female friend.
Police officers sped to a unit on Portland Street and located the woman who was unconsciously lying on the floor. Sustaining multiple injuries, she was certified dead at scene.
Initial investigations revealed that she had been attacked by her 32-year-old husband with a sharp object. The man later fell from a building on Mong Kok Road in the small hours on November 2 and was certified dead at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.
Active investigation by the Team 3, District Crime Squad of Mong Kok is underway. Anyone who witnessed the case or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3661 8750.
